"Gruene" Hall. It's pronounced "Green" Hall!

We are excited to say that after the success of the Brauntex show this past December, we are finally coming home to New Braunfels this spring for a show at our old stomping grounds.  April 24th we will be taking the main stage at Gruene Hall for what could possibly be the best show you might see all year.  There might even be a new CD available for the first time at this show.  To all the fans, we hope to see you soon if not until April.

Holy Snow Balls, Batman!

Well, for some reason there is a rumor going around that Zack Walther and the Cronkites have broken up. This reporter has it on full authority that this statement couldn't be further from the truth. Sometime around the end of the year there was an explosion at the nearby cardboard plant and the Cronkites were tragically lost. Sources say that it was a freak accident and no employees were injured, but for some reason the blast claimed some rough looking loiters. "The blast was too much to handle." Uncertain to the cause and aftermath, Sheriff Mehoff made a statement, "They shouldn't have been standing there."

After the accident one of the few survivors Zack Walther made a statement; "The Cronkites have gone to a better place. They rocked with the best of them and showed the world how rip their faces off and not even be mad about it."  With a smile on his face, Zack remarked; "In fact the fans would always ask for us to do it again and again. I will miss them terribly. We had some great times. But through this terrible incident arises a stronger more agile band. With the New Year comes a rebirth, a new chapter in this bands' journey. Zack Walther and his band have started out 2010 with a bang and it truly looks like 2010 will be the big year for the Zack Walther Band. Stay tuned... "

Larry Joe Taylor Festival Here We Come!!!

We will be making our first appearance at the Larry Joe Taylor Festival on April 23rd.  We are playing at 5:00 on the Band Stage.  We are really looking forward to this one.  We will be camping it this year so I would recomend the same for any fans out there.  I hear that it is a blasty blast.  We will have a tent compound with our friends 6 Market Blvd.  It will be the loud obnoxious group with lots of soft drinks and smells a little funny.

    • Hi Zack, My name is Sara and I saw you for the first time at Cheathem in Jan 2010. Then we saw you again at Woody's last Fri. Don't know if you remember us or not but we are huge fans!!!! We had told you that we would be at the Glass Cactus concert and would try and bring as many people as we could, we are still working on it :-) I gave one of your CDs to a client of mine and invited him to come to the concert on the 11th. He wanted me to try and get a hold of you to see if you might be interested in making like a live music video that night? He does photography and that kind of stuff on the side for fun. He is really good and a super cool guy. Just wanted to see what you thought. Let me know what you think. Can't wait for the show next week. You guys be safe and take care. > > Sara :-)
